Kaleidoscope Coffee - Richmond, CA

If you live in Contra Costa, you must try Kaleidoscope Coffee in Downtown Richmond.

It's a local coffee shop, owned by a Cassie Cushing. She was a former barista who fell in love with coffee and story telling. She opened Kaleidoscope Coffee for the community to come together, tell stories, and grab a cup of coffee.

Before COVID, their shop would have live music, poetry nights, open mic, and many more events! There's a lot of seating when you walk in, but since most of the inside is closed off, you get to only take a peek of what it used to be.

All their drinks are double shot, made with Wrecking Ball coffee. Their menu consists of your regular coffee and espressos, tea, even beer and wine! I love getting the Vietnamese Coffee. It's made with espresso and sweetened condensed milk. They offer other milk options, such as soy, almond, and oat. If you're hungry, they have avocado toast, sandwiches, and first come, first serve pastries.
